Nerdtacular 2007 – Spiderman 3 Edition

Nerdtacular started as a bit of a fluke in 2007. I just wanted a way that a bunch of the Utah fans could get together and see a cool movie. While Spiderman III did not turn out to be all that cool, it was the start of something special. By the way, we had two people who travelled from outside of Utah for this one. Nerdtacular 2008 – Dark Knight Edition

2008 was the year that things really started to click for the Nerdtacular event. We doubled the size of the theater, watched The Dark Knight, and had double the attendees. We gave away nearly tripple the number of prizes, and had more sponsors than the year previous. I should note that 9 people travelled in from outside of Utah. See the full 2008 Flickr set here.

Nerdtacular 2009: Star Trek Edition

2009 was a great year for nerdtacular! Once again, we had to get the biggest theater we could find. Star Trek was the movie. 54 people came to the event from out of town this time. Crazy fun. See the full 2009 Flickr set here.
