A reminder that you can see the schedule, including check in time, etc, right here! Coming from out of town? Not sure where to go? Well, it turns out, I totally have your back. Big detailed map right here.

And now, a few things that have not been mentioned much:

1. Everyone get’s an awesome swag bag!
2. There will be a food vendor on site! Lots of choices, if you wanna check out a local place as well for lunch.
3. T-shirts, prints, vendor booths, and lots of other goodies will be on hand as well.

N’11 schedule, tickets, and who’s who!

Been meaning to post a big update to the site fora couple weeks now, and finally got some time to give you all the big update on what’s going on for Nerdtacular 2011.

First of all, we have a preliminary schedule of the days events. While some of this might shuffle or change slightly before the big day in June, for the most part, it is looking pretty solid. Here’s a quick breakdown so far.

8:00 am – 9:00 am: Badge and Swag Bag Pickup
9:00 am – 9:30 am: Welcome to N’11, with Scott
9:30 am – 11:00 am: Frogpants Podcaster/Producers Panel (FPPP for short)
11:30 am – 12:30 pm: Nerdtacular’s Musically Challenged: The game show
12:30 pm – 2:00 pm: Lunch and mingle
2:00 pm – 3:30 pm: Vidja Games Panel (Industry Experts meet Frogpants)
4:00 pm – 5:00 pm: Film Sack **LIVE**
5:00 pm – 6:00 pm: Prizeocalypse
6:00 pm – 7:00 pm: Mingle

That does not include all the after hang outs and movie watching that will surely happen. Nor does it show the booths that will be up during the entire day, the mini-theater running old Thundercats, Superfriends, and other cartoons, or the photo booths and other things happening through out. When tickets go on sale on March 15th, all of this will be detailed out as well.

So who, besides all of you, are coming to this years Nerdtacular? Here is the short list of those Frogpanters currently planning on attending, in no particular order:

Lots more coming soon. And look! Tickets are on sale now!

Ladies and gentlemen, we have a date

And that date is June 17th, 2011. The place? Salt Lake City, Utah. (Duh). This year is going to be really special. Expect a BUNCH of updates coming to the site in the next few weeks, sharing as many details as possible this far ahead of the date, but here are a few key points:

– Nertacular will take place in a three floor conference facility, with room for a thousand people. We are no longer locked in my the maximum seating at a movie theater. We are literally having a mini conference.

– 8 to 10 hours of Frogpantery! We have the joint for the entire day, filled with panels, demonstrations, booths, contests, prizes, Film Sack Film Room, games, swag and MUCH more. Nearly all the creators in and outside of the Frogpants network will be there! We are expecting the likes of Brian Ibbott, Randy Jordan, Veronica Belmont, Brian Dunaway, Tom Merritt, Roger Chang, Nicole & Marc Spagnolo, EIlieen Rivera, Brian Hough, Eric VanSkyhawk, Stephen Shelicher, and possibly even Patrick Beja and The Turpster! (And Scott of course.) We will have a more solid list as the date approaches.

– Tickets will be available WELL in advance of the event. (And low low priced.)

– Sponsorship opportunities will be up on the site VERY soon as well.

– Lots of connected stuff will be happening as well. There has been talk of meetups before and after the big day, movies, bar hopping, etc etc.

This post is just a TINY taste of what is coming to Nerdtacular 2011. It will be amazing, and I can’t wait to see you all again. And some of you for the first time! It’s really is shaping up to be something special.

More news coming soon! For now, enjoy some pics of the place where the magic will all happen.

UPDATE! Tickets available now!
